about jun

Join me in my life of a regular Singaporean. Where there is nothing to do but shop and eat.
I am a 25 year old fresh IT grad searching for a career in a highly competitive market.
At the moment I spend most of my life in front of my laptop.
The internet is my currency to the world while I have none to spare ($$$).
Read my thoughts and opinion. My triumphs and my breakdowns.
I do not seek to inspire or beg to be praised.
Simply my honest takes and I am all there is.

.::insecure again::.

yesterday my gay supervisor who i used to hate to the core in the past, has announced to us that he is resigning.
he sent his tender a day after my graduation day.
unfortunately since his recent change in attitude, the news of his resignation isnt good news to me and the rest of the staff who also used to dislike him.

but what to do when u gotta go...u gotta go...

but y do people usually leave when ure starting to like them or when ure starting to depend on them or when ure starting to get along with them...?

whyyyyyyyy...................

but this is working life...
its not like school
u come in together
u graduate together
u stay together
in working life, people come and go
u just cant afford to feel sensitive abt these things
u will continue to see people u care about leave
but can do nothing about it
just let them go and move on

soon i will have to move on too
but not till i recieve my confirmation letter
that will be like my 'golden ticket to the chocolate factory'!
i already asked my supervisor to hurry up those idiots up in KL...
ppl down here need to be confirmed! hahaha

but then if i leave without a new job, i'll have a handful of things to worry about
1. who's gona pay my bill?
2. i cant give my mom her monthly cash
3. i cant shop even if im bored
4. cash problems:
- i dont have savings...im totally broke aft spending my June salary on July important events
- i wont have financial security
- i cant get the insurance plan that i wanted so much for my future security
- i wont have the luxury to spend for hari raya later!
- i cant get my contact lenses

but the good thing abt quitting this 6 day week job that works me like a dog is...
1. i'll have alot of time to look for a job
2. i'll have alot of time for myself, to rest and family time
3. i can resume my slacker life which i missed so much:
- stay on the net the whole day while my sister is at school
- watch dvds all day
- afternoon nap
- eat, eat, eat!
4. i can bayar my hutang puase
5. i can perform my religious duties
